Who we are

Strong for Life is operated by Alexander Gulbrandsen. We are the controller responsible for your personal information under applicable data protection law. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Personal information we collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide the program to you. We do not collect information we do not use.

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you choose to add. We use this to create and manage your account and to communicate with you about the program.

Purchase and payment information

When you purchase the program, payment is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details. We receive a confirmation from Stripe and limited information needed to grant and record your access, such as a transaction reference.

Workout and progress information

When you use the app, we store the training path you select, the workouts you mark as complete, and any exercise logs you record (such as weight and reps). This is used to show your program and track your progress.

Why we process your information and the legal basis

We process your information to provide and manage your account and to deliver the program you purchased. The legal basis is the performance of a contract with you. We process purchase records to fulfil that contract and to keep accurate records, based on our legitimate interests. Where any processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing that has already taken place.

Stripe and payment processing

Stripe handles your payment and card details. Your card information is processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy, and we never see or store it. You can review Stripe’s privacy policy on Stripe’s website.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the program, and afterwards for as long as required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries outside your country of residence. Where this happens, we aim to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your personal information;
  • ask us to restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

How to exercise your rights

To access, correct, delete or port your information, or to withdraw consent, contact us at strongforlife.support@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children

The program is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
